Description

Pinguicula robertiana × moctezumae

Pinguicula robertiana × moctezumae is a beautiful and distinctive Mexican butterwort hybrid known for its long, slender leaves and elegant upright growth. Mature plants can reach approximately 6–7 inches tall, creating a graceful appearance that really stands out among more traditional rosette-forming Pinguicula.

One of our favorite characteristics of this hybrid is just how sticky the leaves are! The long carnivorous leaves are covered with glistening glands that are extremely effective at catching fungus gnats and other tiny flying insects. In our experience, this hybrid seems to catch even more gnats than either of its parents.

When in bloom, it produces a beautiful pale pink flower with a contrasting yellow throat, adding another layer of color to an already eye-catching plant.

Plant size, shape, coloration, and flowering may vary depending on growing conditions and maturity. Plants are shipped without flowers unless otherwise stated

You'll get 1 similar plant to the ones in the pictures.

The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plants. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off.

PLEASE READ: The plants are about 2-5" tall, depending on their phase.
