Pinguicula "Queen Cthulhu" is a beautiful Ping that turns purplish/reddish under strong lights. P. “Queen Cthulhu” was created by California Carnivores and was released in 2022. This particular butterwort turns dark green and purple when it is exposed to full-spectrum lights.

The plant in the picture is a representative, you will get a similar plant. [Plants are not flowering at the moment]. These Butterworts will turn darker under bright/intense full spectrum lights.

The plants are shipped bareroot in a plastic container to protect the plants. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cutoff.

You will receive 1 plant per order that is about 0.75-1 inch in diameter.

Plants have been growing under LED lights with a temperature of 75~80 during the day and 55~70 at night.
