Description
Pinguicula 'Florian' is a hybrid of Pinguicula debbertiana and Pinguicula jaumavensis 'Pale purple flower', which are two small species, therefore its size. Pinguicula 'Florian' was created in 1998-1999 by Oliver Gluchs and named after his oldest son's first name. In 2004, P. 'Florian' became a registered cultivar. This particular cultivar can get bright red under strong lights and produce about 25 carnivorous leaves and up to 100 non carnivorous leaves during winter (depending on care).
The plants on the pictures are representative, you will get a similar plant. [Plants are not flowering at the moment]
You'll get a similar plant to the ones in the picture. Please note that some plants are greener than others but will turn pink/reddish with time under intense light.
The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plants. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off.
The plants are between 0.5 to 0.75" in diameter.

It is strongly recommended to get a heating pack during the winter to protect your plant from low temperatures, we are not responsible for dead plants that did not have a heating pack during transit. 1 heating pack per order is enough.
