This bundle is a little more personal to us than just another sale, so I wanted to share the story behind it. ❤️

Years ago, when we got our very first Pinguicula, I remember falling in love with these plants almost immediately. There were so many beautiful varieties I wanted to add to our little collection, but the reality was that many of them were simply out of reach for us financially.

At the time, I was working a regular full-time job, earning an average salary and living in the Bay Area. And if you’ve ever lived in the Bay, you already know where most of that paycheck went… RENT! 😂💸

Spending $30-$40 on one plant was something I really had to think about, and buying several plants at once was definitely not something I could easily afford.

I still remember looking at plants in the nursery, adding up the prices in my head, wanting them so badly…and then telling myself, “Maybe someday.”

That feeling has stayed with me.

Fast-forward to today, and somehow those little plants that we once dreamed about have become such a huge part of our lives. Rainbow has grown more than we could have imagined, and along the way we’ve had the opportunity to grow and share thousands of plants with people all over the country. 🌱🌈

But I haven’t forgotten what it felt like to be on the other side.

I know there are people discovering Pinguicula today who are probably feeling exactly the way I did back then. You love the plants. You want to grow more of them. But sometimes there are more important things that have to come first, and that’s completely understandable.

That’s one of the reasons Jose and I like to offer special sales whenever we can. We want this hobby to be something that more people can enjoy, not something that feels completely out of reach.

Rainbow Carnivorous Plants 🌈

The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plants. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cutoff.

These plants are between 0.5 to 2" in diameter, depending on the species/hybrid.

It is strongly recommended to get a heating pack during the winter to protect your plant from low temperatures, we are not responsible for dead plants that did not have a heating pack during transit. 1 heating pack per order is enough.

Mature plant size	2-3" (Depending on care/plant)
Dormancy	None, nevertheless, plant may go into a succulent state during Winter (depending on temperatures).
