Description
Drosera afra is a winter growing sundew from South Africa. Drosera afra looks similar to D. trinervia, with the difference that D. afra has two distinct forms of leaves, where the leaves start small at the beginning of the season and end more elongated towards the end of their season. After flowering, the plant pulls back to a rootstock and waits until next winter to emerge.
This is a D. afra {Matroosberg, South Africa}.Β
