Pinguicula esseriana is a perennial heterophyllous species that forms winter rosettes of about 35-40 succulent narrow leaves during winter and about 30 non-succulent, thinner, broader leaves during summer. Pinguicula esseriana commemorates German botanist Professor Karl Esser.

The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plants. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off.

The plant has been growing under LED lights with a temperature of 75~80° during the day and 55~70° at night.
