During its winter succulent phase, the plant produces a much tighter rosette consisting of approximately \u003cstrong\u003e35–80 smaller, non-carnivorous succulent leaves\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eAbout This Particular Form\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis particular \u003cem\u003ePinguicula cyclosecta\u003c\/em\u003e has some interesting characteristics that distinguish it from the typical form in our collection. Its flower is \u003cstrong\u003eslightly smaller with wavier petals and a beautiful metallic-purple coloration, \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cstrong\u003esee picture\u003c\/strong\u003e. (Left flower is a typical cyclosecta, right flower is cyclosecta {El Cielo}.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe rosette currently appears greener while still showing a noticeable \u003cstrong\u003epurple hue\u003c\/strong\u003e. However, we have not grown this form under strong lighting for an extended period yet, so its full color potential is still being evaluated.
